JUICE

JUICE, for JUpiter ICy moons Explorer is the first large-class (L-class) mission in ESA's Cosmic Vision 2015-2025 programme. It is planned for a launch in 2022 and an arrival at Jupiter in 2030. An important part of the mission will be dedicated to making detailed observations of the giant gaseous planet Jupiter and three of its largest moons, Ganymede (mainly, JUICE will be in orbit around Ganymede), and also Callisto and Europa (JUICE will do flybys).
